Our method of surrogate mother recruitment separates GRACE from other recruitment agencies. It consists of, but is not limited to…

Phone Interview: GRACE case coordinator interviews the potential gestational carriers over the phone with preliminary questions, making sure the candidate meet all the requirements of our agency.

In-Home Support System Assessment: GRACE case coordinator visits the surrogate mother candidates at their homes, conducting a one-on-one interview with the candidate, assessing her home and support system (family/ friends/community) that may provide her with support resources when the gestational process begins.

Application and Medical Records: Once the surrogate candidates have  passed both first steps of the process,  GRACE case coordinator will ask them to fill out a complete application to gather all demographics, personal informations, medical informations including details on previous pregnancies, traits and characteristics, employment and education and medical insurance. Also, we will need you to collect your medical records from your OBGYN.

Background and Credit Screen: Through a background report we check candidates for felony offenses on their record (some of the most common felony offenses include drug abuse, burglary, larceny, arson, theft, driving while intoxicated, assault, disorderly conduct). The credit report gives us an idea of the level of financial responsibility for the candidate.

Initial Guidance of the Surrogacy Process: At GRACE, we pride ourselves on providing personalized guidance with one point of contact throughout the surrogacy process. At the beginning of your journey, we will make sure you understand all aspects and we will be available to answer any question you may have.
